Mirima Hrebien

Hi, I’m Miriam Hrebien, a certified postpartum doula serving families in the South Charlotte area. I’m a proud mom of four grown children and grandma to four amazing grandkids. I live with my husband, and when I’m not supporting new families, you’ll usually find me in my garden. I also love animals, especially dogs, and I have a real passion for the culinary arts.

I was born and raised in Southern California as an only child and had a happy, creative childhood. My early love for design and fashion led me to pursue a career as a fashion designer. Just as I was starting my career, I got married, and within a year, I was expecting my first baby. Around that same time, my mom, who I was very close with, was diagnosed with cervical and breast cancer. She passed away just one month after my daughter was born, and that season of life was the most difficult I’ve ever faced.

As a brand new mother grieving such a tremendous loss, I felt overwhelmed, scared, and alone. I experienced intense emotional highs and lows, from deep grief to severe anxiety and depression. It took me years to heal, but through that experience, I discovered a deep calling to support other women during the postpartum period.

Today, I’m passionate about offering gentle, compassionate care to new mothers. I help with newborn care, breastfeeding support, and navigating the emotional ups and downs of postpartum life. My training and certification with ProDoula ensure I provide families with evidence-based, nonjudgmental care, always with empathy and understanding at the heart of everything I do.
