Josie Neugebauer

Hi, my name is Josie, and I’m a postpartum doula, lactation educator, and IBCLC student based here in Charlotte. As your doula, I aim to be helpful in all the ways you might need. I’m here to listen, answer your questions, and help you get more rest.

Growing up, I loved playing “family,” delivering baby dolls, and even trying to breastfeed them as a toddler. Supporting new families has always felt like my calling, and I’m excited to assist as many families as I can, in whatever way they need support.

I’m originally from California but have moved around quite a bit over the past four years. I spent a year in Washington, two years in Florida, and have now landed in Charlotte to become an IBCLC and put down roots. I’ve taken a variety of college courses over the years but never settled on one degree, so I’ve collected plenty of random facts and knowledge across different subjects.

When I’m not working or in school, you’ll likely find me spending time with my dog or baking something new. I also love board games, discovering new restaurants, and finding great hikes and activities around Charlotte. I’m always looking to learn more and expand my knowledge, so I’ll gladly take any book recommendations you have!
